Buying pre-construction at The Augustine Collection
Buying pre-construction usually starts with registering your interest. Registrants are typically contacted first when a builder releases pricing and floor plans, and early access can mean a wider choice of lots and models.
Deposits are commonly structured in stages over time, starting with a deposit at signing and followed by further instalments. Many new homes also involve an interim occupancy period before final closing, when title transfers. CountryWide Homes will confirm the deposit schedule and closing terms for The Augustine Collection.
The 10-day cooling-off period under the Condominium Act applies to new condos only, so it does not generally apply to freehold single-family homes. Have a real estate lawyer review any agreement of purchase and sale before signing.
