Westbank
South end of the Burrard Street Bridge, Kitsilano (Park Lane / Senakw Lane), Vancouver, BC, British Columbia
Sen̓áḵw is a landmark residential and retail development from Westbank, rising on Squamish Nation land at the south end of the Burrard Street Bridge in Kitsilano. Spanning multiple towers and phases, it will bring a large mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom rental homes together with street-level retail to one of Vancouver's most visible sites.
With Phase 1 targeted for completion in 2025–2026 and the remaining phases expected to follow through the early 2030s, Sen̓áḵw is being built out gradually as a long-term addition to the city's rental housing stock.

Sen̓áḵw sits at the foot of the Burrard Street Bridge in Kitsilano, one of Vancouver's most established west-side neighbourhoods, putting future residents within easy reach of the shops, cafes and services along West 4th Avenue and Cornwall Avenue, as well as the beaches and green space of Vanier Park and Kitsilano Beach nearby. The development's own retail component will add further everyday convenience directly on site as each phase opens.
Given its location at a key bridgehead between Kitsilano and downtown Vancouver, residents will also be close to the shopping, dining and cultural amenities of both the West Side and the downtown core.
Sen̓áḵw's location at the south end of the Burrard Street Bridge gives it an unusually direct connection into downtown Vancouver, with the bridge itself carrying car, bus and cycling traffic across False Creek. Regional bus routes along Burrard Street and West 4th Avenue link the site to the wider TransLink network, while nearby Highway 99 provides a route toward the Granville Street corridor, the Arthur Laing Bridge and Vancouver International Airport. The neighbourhood's central position also keeps most of Kitsilano and the downtown peninsula within a short trip by transit, bike or car.
Westbank is a major Vancouver-based developer known for large-scale, architecturally ambitious residential and mixed-use projects across Canada and internationally. In the local market, the company has built a reputation for pursuing complex, high-profile sites and long-term community-building efforts, of which Sen̓áḵw, developed in partnership with the Squamish Nation, is among its most significant undertakings.
Sen̓áḵw is a purpose-built rental development, so homes here will be leased rather than sold. As with most large new rental buildings in British Columbia, prospective renters can typically expect to submit a rental application, provide income and reference information, and sign a lease using the province's standard residential tenancy agreement once suites in a given phase are ready for occupancy.
Because Sen̓áḵw is being delivered in four phases over a long timeline, with Phase 1 targeted for 2025–2026 and later phases extending toward 2032–2033, registering early for updates is worthwhile for renters who want first access to availability, pricing and move-in dates as each phase comes online. Lease terms, included utilities or amenities, and application requirements will be set by the builder and property manager closer to each phase's completion.
British Columbia's Residential Tenancy Act governs rental agreements in the province, setting out standard protections around deposits, notice periods and lease terms; renters interested in Sen̓áḵw should confirm the specific terms offered for each phase directly with the leasing team once details are published.
Sen̓áḵw will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom rental homes across its multiple residential towers, along with retail space at grade.
