About Elm Developments
Elm Developments is the builder behind ELM Davenport Residences. Publicly supplied information about the company's track record is limited here, so buyers should ask the sales team about previous projects and review them directly during due diligence.
Buying pre-construction at ELM Davenport Residences
Buying pre-construction usually starts with registering for first access. Registrants often see floor plans and pricing before a wider release, and early buyers typically have a broader choice of homes and locations within the project.
Deposits are generally staged over time rather than paid all at once, with the exact schedule set by the builder. Many projects have interim occupancy, when you move in before the title is registered, followed by final closing. Ask the builder to explain the terms, fees and timelines.
Because this is a townhouse project, the 10-day cooling-off period under Ontario's Condominium Act, which applies to new condominiums, may not apply. Have a real estate lawyer review the agreement before signing.
